Vanita Renée

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Vanita Renée Joseph, I had a love for music from a very young age. I grew up singing in church, and I fell in love with music as I got older. Soon, I began to write my own songs and produce my own music. Even though it wasn't that great (lol), it was a start!

During quarantine in 2020, I made my debut as UNEIK. My first instrumental single, "Confetti" started as a simple EDM experiment. Later, a close family member and mentor encouraged me to release it. I always wanted to be a performer, but everyone has to start somewhere. I am proud to call "Confetti" my first step into my dream.

After the release of my Hip-Hop EP, "Heat" in 2021, I wanted to dive deeper into producing, writing, and performing my own music. I began to work on my first single, "YDC". A few months later, I added "Pretty Chains" to my discography.

My dream is to touch hearts. I find happiness in positivity and in making others happy. I want to spread kindness and God's love while sharing my many talents with the world.
